Many opportunities exist for individuals interested in contributing in a different way. In this role you will be involved in leading YOUTHLINK to achieve its mission. Your time and expertise will be devoted to taking on the challenges of setting agency direction in fundraising, public relations, advocacy, quality assurance and strategic planning. You will learn about the impact of poverty, homelessness, and violence on Toronto youth and families.
Inner City Drop-In and Resource Centre
For the past 10 years volunteers have assisted staff with an evening drop-in program for homeless youth. This program will provide you with an opportunity to interact with youth and learn what “street involved” really means. All of this will happen within a safe, activity-based social environment where you will learn, inspire and motivate.
