Donate securities to YouthLink and avoid the capital gains tax
Here's tax-smart tip! You can make a gift of securities to YOUTHLINK. Recent tax changes make it possible to donate publicly traded securities, bonds, mutual funds and other investments without having to pay capital gains tax. You will receive a tax receipt for the full appreciated value of a donation of publicly traded stock or securities, and you will not be subject to any capital gains tax on the donated stock.

You can donate to YouthLink right away by clicking the Donate Now button to the right. Your donation will be processed through CanadaHelps,a safe and secure website and you will receive an electronic tax receipt immediately that you can use for tax purposes. You can choose to direct your donation to a particular service, include a personal message or sign up to become a regular monthly donor.

Want to save time and cut costs? Become a monthly donor - it's the most powerful way to give
Monthly giving is a great way to save you time and cut our costs so that more of your dollars go directly to supporting youth. let us know how much you would like to give each month and we will arrange for the donation from your credit card or bank account. Giving $10 or $20 every month is a great way to spread your gift all through the year and you will receive a tax receipt in February for the full amount of your contributions. You will receive special benefits like invitations to our fund-raisers and program tours.
Our monthly donors are important to our community and understand the need to provide stable services for young people all year round. It's easy to join - simply sign-up through Canada Helps or print off our Donation Form and fax or mail it to us.
