Karen Positano Fund
The Karen Positano Fund was established by family and friends in memory of Karen Positano, a former YouthLink employee and passionate advocate for street youth who passed away on October 1, 2004.
Every year, the Fund provides a modest bursary to youth involved in Inner City programs to help them further their education through secondary, post-secondary or apprenticeship programs.
Awards of $500 are made to two youth each year and may be used to cover tuition fees, school books and other supplies, transportation, clothing or other related costs.
