Susan Dallhoff is the President & CEO of Strategic Leverage Partners Inc., an organization that assists Boards of Directors in becoming more effective in their strategic and governance roles. Prior to joining Strategic Leverage Partners, Sue spend 15 years in the capital markets, with roles ranging from financial analyst to institutional equity sales to a founding partners of a Bay Street investment boutique. She has been actively involved in the non-profit sector for a number of years. Most recently she was a director of Casey House Foundation, where she was volunteer Chair of the Corporate Fundraising Committee and the ALS Society of Toronto, where she was Vice Chair and chaired both the Governance Committee and the Fund Development Committee. Sue also writes business cases in the area of governance for the Richard Ivey School of Business. Sue holds an MBA from Ivey. She brings financial, business, Board governance, leadership, strategic planning, and fundraising experience to the Board.
Sally Bryant has a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia and a law degree from the University of Toronto. She is a lawyer in the litigation department of McCarthy Tetrault. Sally is also a part time lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Health, Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. Sally has extensive experience in the not for profit sector, particular in organizations providing services for and advocating for change for women and their families. She is the former President of the YWCA of/du Canada and has been a volunteer with Elizabeth Fry, the Task Force on Churches and Corporate Responsibility, neighbourhood associations, and a member of the Advisory Committee to the Panel on Violence Against Women. Sally brings legal and Board governance to the Board.
Rosemarie Cameron is the Regional Manager for Human Resources for the CECCAC. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management, CHRP and MBA. She has worked for over fourteen years in Health Care Sector. Rosemarie is a member of the Audit and Governance Committee. Rosemarie brings her H.R. experience to the Board.
Teri McCoppin is a graduate of McMaster University and obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1981. She completed her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1992. Teri has an extensive background in financial services, having spent 9 years working in the banking sector and for the Federal bank regulators. For the past 15 years she has been an investment professional with roles ranging from financial services analyst, to mutual funds management to partner in a pension funds management company. She is currently employed by the family office of a wealthy Canadian family to assist them in managing their investment portfolio. Teri served on the Board of Directors of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts from 1998 to 2001. Teri brings financial, business and investment experience.
Eduardo Castro has over 18 years of professional experience in health and human services, focusing in the field of addictions and health promotion. He is currently Central Area Manager, Provincial Services, for the Centre for Addiction & Mental Health, and former Manager of the Scarborough Addiction Services Partnership.His work encompasses a variety of areas including managing the development of mental health and addiction services and health promotion/education. He has a particular interest in diversity, equity, change management, leadership development and community engagement. His experience comes from the not-for-profit and public sectors. Throughout his career, he has held different positions with West Scarborough Neighbourhood Community Centre and York Region Neighbourhood Services Inc. He has also worked as an advisor and facilitator with Toronto Community Housing Corporation, Boys & Girls Club of Canada and City of Toronto.Eduardo also has over 20 years of volunteer experience including current affiliations with the Central East LHIN Mental Health and Addictions Network, Scarborough Civic Action Network, Scarborough Addiction Services Partnership, Scarborough Youth Addiction Services, Scarborough Homelessness Committee, Ministry of Health Addiction Services Implementation Committee, Scarborough HIV/AIDS Network, City of Toronto – Scarborough Local Health Committee and The United Way.Eduardo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Studies and Psychology from York University.
Grace Bugg is the COO of Strategic Leverage Partners. Grace spent the early part of her career developing technology based products where she acquired the ability to develop and execute operational strategies. Grace has worked in a number of industries that successfully deployed technology to create strategic advantage. Through her experience in industries that have gone through major changes, Grace has gained considerable insight into the role an organization’s strategy, culture and underlying infrastructure play in its ability to adapt rapidly to changes in the environment. Grace’s expertise and strengths are in the areas of board effectiveness, strategic planning, project management, leadership, analysis, process design and technology deployment. Grace has acted as a case writer in the area of corporate governance for the Richard Ivey School of Business, where she obtained her executive MBA. Grace volunteers on the boards and executive committees of a number of non-profit community organizations. Grace brings with her both Board governance and technology experience.
Kristina Arena is a graduate of the University of Toronto and obtained her Master of Social Work in 1988. Kristina has an extensive background in the field of social work and has worked both in Toronto and internationally. She worked both as a front-line social worker and as a senior administrator within the Children’s Mental Health sector. Kristina has developed, coordinated and implemented a variety of community and school based intervention programs and workshops including youth violence, crime prevention and mental health. Currently Kristina is a Professor at Sheridan College cross-teaching in both the Social Service Worker and Child and Youth Worker Programs. She is also the Program Coordinator for the new Child and Youth Worker Program and has been very involved in all stages of the development and launching of this new program. Kristina brings experience within the children’s mental health sector and with educational institutions.
Wayne Einhorn is the President and Co founder of the Entrepreneurial Development Institute and EDI Achievement Coaching Inc. Through EDI, Wayne leads an organization committed to improving the lives and business of the entrepreneurs and business leaders they serve. Previous to his current assignment, Wayne spent twenty years in the Real Estate and Financial Services business running several successful organizations. In 2000 he returned to school to complete his MBA at the top ranked Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. Wayne has also been involved in a number of not for profit associations and organizations both here and abroad. His business and charitable activities have spanned the globe including an assignment raising money and building infrastructure to help children starving in Africa. Wayne’s expertise is in strategy, finance, and leadership. He also brings fundraising experience to the board.
Krystyna Kott is a Certified General Accountant with a BBA from Simon Fraser University. She has a business management background in a number of industries including the government sector, the airline industry, the health care field and the not-for-profit sector. Krystyna has extensive experience in controllership, internal audit and risk management.
Linda Shin is an Assistant Crown Attorney in the Downtown Toronto Crown Attorney’s Office. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Political Studies from Queens University and a law degree from the University of Toronto. Previously, she was a litigation lawyer at McCarthy Tétrault and has also worked in (former) Attorney General of Ontario Michael Bryant's office in various roles including as his Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs. Linda brings legal expertise to the board.
Michelle Wasylyshen is a consultant at a leading public affairs firm where she specializes in Government Relations and Strategic Communications. Prior to this, she worked for a large pension fund in Ontario where she built and managed the stakeholder and government relations functions. Michelle has also served as a Senior Advisor to two Ontario Cabinet Ministers. Through her work in both the private and public sectors, Michelle offers extensive knowledge and insight into the areas of political and community advocacy, policy development, strategic communications and corporate governance. Active in the community, Michelle leads a number of fundraising and educational events to benefit a variety of charitable organizations including leadership programs for kids and canine rescue. She has also been involved in numerous election campaigns at both federal and provincial levels. Michelle completed her Masters of Business Administration Program (MBA) at Wilfrid Laurier University. She also holds a BA (High Honours) in Law and Criminology from Carleton University and a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations and Communications from Humber College.
